The Buffalo, NY duo that is Honey have turned out one fun ep. Better Luck Next Year is the type of record that reminds you why you like music in the first place. It’s an indie rock record that will remind you of the first time you realized there was music outside of the radio. The album’s opener, Raked, is a perfect track for the Halloween season. The lyrics are clever and fun. It’s a smart rock and roll record that’s enjoyable start to finish. One of my favorite Free Music Friday features of the year!
